Actaully it was made because hollywood has no new ideas; so sequals and remakes are the order of the day.

saw this on the adam sandler page a while back ... ill see it. i dont really think there anything wrong with bringing back characters some people enjoy, and i dont think hes out of ideas ... im pretty sure theres a few other happy gilmore films coming out as well.

when doesn't he ever need money? This guy has been in so many (bad) movies, I don't understand why he still headlines movies. Even South Park made an episode based on mocking all his movies.
