now i ain't much of a computer person but i just bought a new game and after i installed it, i went to play it and it came up with this message about how i needed either a pixel shader 1.1 or higher.


first off wtf is that and second, it sound's pretty basic, should i have it and and stuff?

anyway, answer soon cause this is pissing me off.

update your drivers, and what card do you have?

what if i don't have the discs to update in my hand..lol.

uh, you dont update using disks usually, you find new drivers available for download online

If you have at least a DirectX 8 card you'll be able to do PS1.1.

Meaning any GeForce4 Ti, GeForce FX, Radeon 9xxx, Radeon Xxxx, or GeForce 6xxx.

yeah, i have a geforce2 :( fuck.. all i need is the pixel shader though, i got all the other stuff. can anyone find one for download?

You can get a FX5200 for under $50.00. Go cut some lawns.

Sorry, Pixel Shader is hardware related. Technology is always moving forward, it's time to upgrade.
