Mohaa The Golden Age
remember back in the day when mohaa was at its height. back when band of brothers was still playing on hbo, and everyone was a spiers or a winters or a compton. When this site was supreme, when the updates on mods, and skins, and maps were daily...before I knew about this forum.
I dunno about you guys but that was the golden age of gaming for me. Remember: no matter where you go, there you are. Yeah,
The most I ever did on-line prior to AA was pron & research. Wife bought me the game for Christmas one year... which lead to a clan...which lead to here. I eventually got into PS more than gaming and have not played the game in damn...I quess about a year now. I poped back to the old clans a few times just to see how things were going and all, but they are mostly all CoD now. AA is certainly dead now except for those super modders and few clans. Newt, That kind-of brings up a very good point as far as we go. With AA in the shitcan & BS not working the site, I think most of us are here simply to visit with each other. Perhaps we should make some changes to the forum areas/layout/cash & Karma/ect. to accomidate ourselves better? Simo's posting, Anti's posting, Inny's a mod... VC is gone... Things are certainly different now, we are ... dare I say it, living in an AA.com of the past?!?! EDIT: I'll make a post in OT about it so everyone sees, and so as not to de-rail your thread. |
yea me and a bunch of friends started a clan. I mean I think mohaa is the best ww2 game there ever was and ever will be. Yea most people just come outta habit now, my point is just that, they were good times and we should'nt forget'em
friend made this site for us http://www.angelfire.com/falcon/48th/ |
I really enjoyed the days when I usually only played with Waffen SS kicking Cethins ass 24/7.
|
Yeah, mohaa was the golden age of gaming, Sniping in stalingrad was the greatest...until hordes of cheaters figured out that you can exploit pk3's into making cheat skins.
|
MoHAA rocked.
|
I really did enjoy MOHAA till everyone started using the overpowered shotgun with the combo jump lean in the air...
DoD for me! |

DoD for me![/quote:37424] I reall enjoyed using the zooka on The Hunt and throwing rockets into the house and the end of the road and getting umpteenth kills. rock: It's a damn shame the game fell prey to hackers and poor support. |
I still remeber staying up all night in summer playing omaha none stop...sniping all the allies and getting them pissed...good times.
|
I remember when Hitman from t3r got pissed off at me for killing him. He thought I hacked. happy:

I remember if you took a grenade and primed it and got on the MG you'd be hidden but you could still see and kill all the allies. happy: |
mohaa was amazing when it first came out, and aa.com was really (up until i started upon the burning sands) the only forum ive been involved in
mohaa was the beginning of my modding, and its still a good game, im gonna reinstall now that ironsights are working but really the only reason we still post here is, as zen said, for the buddies, and this forum is the shit rock: |
