Saw that earlier today. I'm not sure if he'd make a good coach or not. He's always been in a management position for Team Canada during the olympics and IIHF tournaments. Should be interesting to see how he does.

Hopefully there is a league for him to coach a team in.

They have to play in the fall whether they like it or not. If they don't have a deal done, the league will collapse.

My friend works for Fox Sports Detriot and says that if they don't get a deal done soon that they will lose all of the television contracts, (Fox, ESPN, ABC, etc.) in which case they will be royaly fucked.

The NHL will take another huge loss in revenue in addition to the lost season if tv contracts are not renewed.
