Great gift idea 2005! Yay.

I'm thinking of getting one for my gf's cousin who's graduating from high school next week in Arizona oOo: I think I'm just gonna get one online. Does anyone knows how these online gift card thing works? Do I recieve a gift card photo with bar codes and stuffs in email and print it out? What if my cousin doesn't own a color printer?

I hate giftcards.. its like trading money for something less useful than money, and you can only use at one store.

I've gotten best buy gift cards for my friend at work for her birthday and whatnot, never bought it online, just went inside and the store.

Excactly, Why anyone would want to take their money, and make it worthless to 99% of everyone who would accept it is beyond me.

Just give him the cash.

Anyway, I'd just go ahead and paypal him 50 bucks, save me a lot of trouble but it's just weird giving someone cash/money as a gift.

It's to show some effort in picking out a gift...."its the thought that counts" and all that bullshit....To be honest I couldn't care less, but I'm sure your girlfriend or some fuckin female would like it if you busted out a voucher for her birthday as opposed to dipping into your pocket and pulling out just cash, which demonstrates no thought at all.

It's hard to know how people react to that kind of stuff, so It's always easier to just play it safe and show some "effort."
