photography contests
 

Are there any photography contests that you guys know of? I'd like to submit my one picture that I took in Hamlet's Castle in Denmark.

yeah thats a pretty good one ... i did notice that you have a pretty good eye for pictuers when i looked thru your photos ... theres some others that are pretty damn good too ... id have to look thru them again to find them tho.

i dont know of any contests .. you can always google. isnt there anything going on at your high school ? or maybe you can ask / show the art teacher person and see what they think.

yeah, i'll google when i get the time.

As for school, I only have 4 days left so that wouldn't bring too many options to the table.

Does deviant art ever have contests or anything? I'm not familiar with the site at all.

my friend (brother's room mate) Carlo has a bunch of great macro shots. His Nikon that he uses has a 4cm macro mode or something so he tries to do a bunch of close ups.

Ultra-clear digicam shots reveal "too much and not enough" for most photographers tastes....I think you'll find that you'd need a camera with film to win and probably to enter most photography competitions....
