a good reason to stop pirating movies (off bittorrent)
Nothing new there. Downloading movies has always been somewhat risky for the supplier.

"oh im proud to be a canadian...where I know im free...to download pirated material"

No? All the fed attention just means it was that much better than everything else.
why is ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement ) involved?
hopefully a new one springs up

fbi is involved, also homeland security, lol. i'm guessing because some movies downloaded illegaly also involve foreign films and other outside of the usa companies |
I don't know why Homeland Security should be involved in it, last time I checked downloading stuff wasn't the same as car bombing buildings.
I'm not sure why ICE would be involved either. Perhaps some of the uploaders were Canadian. |
uploading and downloading movies illegaly across borders...duh
Possibly, but shouldn't they be doing something like patrolling the damn borders?
No wonder there are so many illegals here. "Hey guys, want to go enforce US Immigration laws today?" "Nah, let's just eat donuts and pick on US citizens" |
....
"The FBI remains committed to working with our partners in law enforcement at all levels and private industry to identify and take action against those responsible." "Operation D-Elite is being conducted jointly by ICE and the FBI as part of the Computer And Technology Crime High Tech Response Team ("CATCH"), a San Diego task force of specially trained prosecutors and law enforcement officers who focus on high-tech crime. Federal and state member agencies of CATCH include ICE, the FBI, the Department of Justice, the San Diego District Attorney's Office, San Diego Police Department, the San Diego Sheriff's Department, and San Diego County Probation." Do you guys even read the articles? |
