do you have any idea how much text fits in 1.44MB's - plus the university computers often lack a free usb port - therefore a floppy comes in perfect - i aint wasting a cd-r...

lasagna 05-28-2005 10:20 AM

wtf is a A:/ drive

Nyck 05-28-2005 10:23 AM

you realize cd-r's are cheaper than 3.5" now. they are like 4.98 for a package of 10 disks or 50 cd-r's for like 5.94

bukdez 05-28-2005 10:35 AM

simply put, i have a bunch of old floppys and sometimes needed to bring a paper that is like 65kb to school to print, it was faster and easier...

beer: beer: same I did when I was still in college so its all cool. I would always email myself a copy to my yahoo account though. Those fucking disks always like to not work when you need it.
