Recipes :gay
So i'm heading off to school next year with no meal plan. Its all cooking from here on. I am not some one who enjoys eating easy mac and ramen day in and day out. I'm willing to fork out the cash on ingredients and such for cooking (nothing to pricey). I've been trying to collect some easy/cheap recipes that will be great for when i go up to school. Feel free to post recipes of your own special dishes.
KTOG's Meat(hookjustice)Loaf 4 slices of cubed bread (2 wheat, 2 white preferably) 1/2 cup of milk 2 eggs 1/2 cup chopped onions 4 tsp. Onion Poweder 1/4 tsp. Pepper 2 tsp. Salt A FUCKLOAD OF RED DEVIL SAUSE (Red Hot, tabasco, etc will do) 1.5 lbs Ground Beef -Soak bread crumbs in milk, mix around -Throw in the eggs, then beat them (preferably with an electric mixer) -Throw in the remaining ingredients except the beef. The hotsauce is mainly to add a peppery flavor; however, the more you put in the more the bite. -Mix in the beef and stir it up until its all the same consistency. -Form in a casserole dish in a loaf form. -Stick it in the oven at 350F for 1 hour 15 minutes. -Serve with gravy or on a sammich. O.B.'s Barbecue Sauce Recipe for Ribs 1 tablespoon butter 1-2 cloves garlic, crushed 1/2 cup catsup 1/3 cup chili sauce 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 tablespoons minced onions 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon mustard 1 teaspoon celery seed 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon hot sauce 3 slices lemon Simmer the ribs in salted water for about 20 minutes. Drain. Combine all the barbecue sauce ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a low boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Place the ribs on a preheated barbecue grill or under the broiler and cook over/under medium heat until cooked through, about 20 to 30 minutes. Baste with the barbecue sauce during the last 10 minutes of cooking. Oven Cooked Ribs Directions: After simmering and draining the ribs, place them in a shallow baking dish and bake at 350° for 20 to 40 minutes. Baste often with barbecue sauce. |

Penne a la Vodka 1 1/2 large yellow onions 5 cloves crushed garlic 10 slices bacon, diced 2 cups chopped tomatoes 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes 1 cup heavy whipping cream 2 fluid ounces vodka 12 ounces penne pasta DIRECTIONS: Cook and drain the penne pasta. Set aside. In a pan or skillet, sweat thinly sliced onions, crushed garlic and bacon. Add diced tomato and deglaze (cook until alcohol has evaporated) with vodka. Add crushed tomatoes and cream. Reduce sauce until thickened and season with salt and pepper. Add to pasta, toss and serve. Bon appetite! ------------------------- Risotto is good too 2 1/2 cups water 2 cups milk 2 tablespoons butter 1 cup minced onion 1 clove garlic, minced 3/4 cup uncooked Arborio rice 3 tablespoons white wine 1 medium tomato - peeled, seeded and chopped 1 1/3 cups fresh corn kernels 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, cut into thin strips 1/2 teaspoon salt ground black pepper to taste Combine the water and milk in a medium size pot or saucepan, heat the water and milk to a simmer. Keep the pan over low heat. Melt the butter in a large casserole or skillet over medium high heat. Add the onion and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the garlic and the rice, stir constantly for 1 minute. Add the white wine and stir until completely absorbed. Begin to add the heated milk-water mixture 1/2 cup at a time, stirring frequently. Wait until each addition is almost completely absorbed before adding the next. When the rice has cooked for 15 minutes and most of the liquid has been incorporated, add the corn kernels and tomatoes along with the end of the milk-water mixture. Cook, stirring frequently, until the rice is tender but still slightly chewy. The risotto should take 18 to 20 minutes of cooking all together. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, most of the basil, and the salt and pepper. Spoon the risotto immediately onto plates, top with the remaining basil strands, and serve. |

Just buy pasta, whole-peeled tomatoes/pasta sauce/chunky tomato, and various vegetables - Peppers, courgiets, carrots, mushrooms, onions/spring onions etc, and a bit of beef stock, then you can do a series of nice pasta meals, with or without mince.
I usually cook that kind of stuff for my family because it's easy and I cook for them throughout the week as they're busy at work til late these days.... Mashed potato and mince is a classic and simple meal....With the mince, chopped carrot and a whole chopped onion, maybe some green pepper, and a dash of various spices/herbs then fry in a pan while peeled potatoes boil in a pot with a teaspoon of salt. You'll be able to tell when the mince is done by taste test and the taters by stabbing them with a fork - If the potato slides of straight away, like nothing, you're good to go. Mash dat shit with a bit of milk - quarter cup or so, and a huge amount of butter. Then serve together, piping hot. Steak and baked potatoes is simple and nice especially with the right sauce and a well prepared salad....(Salad MUST have cheese cubes in it).... Bacon and smoked chicken salad - Chop up bacon into square inch or so sized bits, then fry on a pan til done, then let em cool down. Chop up some smoked chicken to portions around the same size as the bacon. Chuck into a nice mesculine, or spring herb salad and you have a wonderful meal. Heaps of pepper on dat shit. Serve with potatoes that have been baked with a light layer of cooking oil, in thin slices. |

When you are going to cook some chicken marinade it in Italian Salad dressing for a couple of hours first.
Cajun 15 bean soup 1 1lb4oz bag of 15 bean soup 1 to 2 lb Italian sausage 1 large onion, chopped 1 15oz can tomatos diced 1 lemon or 2 limes 1 to 2 cloves garlic Place the beans in a large pot and cover with water and vinager (50/50) and soak overnight. (At least 8 hours) After soaking drain and recover with 2 qt water. Look through the beans and discard the screwed up ones. Bring the beans up to a rolling boil, reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for 2.5 hrs. In a skillet sauté the onion, garlic, and sausage (extra virgin olive oil) untill sausage is browned. Drain excess grease and add to the beans along with the tomatoes,lemon or lime juice, and the flavor pack that came with the beans. Simmer for another 30 min to an hour. Put the soup into sealable containers and freeze. To eat place container in microwave and nuke on high for 3 min. Makes 5 10 8 servings. |
Bacon of Champions
Need: -Non Salted Bacon (Canadian back Bacon/Peameal is best to use) -1/4 cup of PURE maple syrup -Oregano leaves -Cold Pressed Virgin olive oil -Tabasco Sauce -margerine or butter -pinch of paprika -dash of parseley leaves (can be done on the BBQ or Stove Top 1. Melt butter into pan with olive oil, let it heat up. 2. Mix in the paprika, parseley, and oregano 3. mix with vigor. 4. dash tabasco sauce sparingly threw out the pan. 5. mix some more. 6. lay the bacon on the pan 7. pour maple syrup over top the bacon (not to much, just a littel) & pour a some more into the pan between the strips 8. Shake the pan a little, mix between the strips a bit. 9. flip bacon over and over continously, if you fail to do so, the maple syrup WILL crisp and burn onto the bacon, that is very disgusting to eat. 10. cook bacon to medium/well done (not crispy) 11. throw onto a bed of paper towerl, soak up all excess fat grease etc. 12. serve as you like on a sandwich, with some eggs, etc. enjoy. The taste is really easy on the pallette, you are not going to be bombarded by some ultra sweet bacon. |
