i heard there was gonna be a movie. Anyway, some guy posted a link to some live action footage. Looks pretty awesome, although its kinda strange they would release something like instead of an actual teaser trailer or something. Even for people who havent played the games, the movie looks pretty neat, tho im not sure if this really is live action footage from the movie... looks like it might be for the game... oh well. still kinda cool rock:

I hear we can expect to see doom, gta, splinter cell, and halo movies as well.

what the hell is the story line for this anyway?

story line is decent, but the real reason people play the games is the awesome gameplay... Anyway, Dantes(main character) dad is a demon in a guy named mundus's army. Mundus wants to invade earth. Sparda(his dad) betrays the demons(dante is half demon, sparda is full, dantes brotehr vergil is half). he fights mundus, beats him, and locks the demon portal thing for 2000 years. Suposedly mundus somehow kills him. Vergil goes evil, and tries to get spardas power by opening up the demon portal thing, but he loses a fight to mundus. Then vergil becomes a slave sort of to mundus. Dante kills mundus. And ya. I could sum it up more since i omitted a lot but i dont really feel like it lol. Sry. Hope this gives you a general idea.

lol like i said im not a fan of demons and stuff either, its the gameplay thats good. Thats y im excited about the movie lol, cuz there shoudl be some pretty nice fight scenes. A lot like the blade trilogy really(imo).

Devil May Cry is the best action game there is

Im not sure how to rate it against the last generation...but the 3D generation it is by far the best.

How can you compared RE to DMC? The gameplay isn't remotely similar.

RE is a survival horror game and DMC is a button mashing action game... stupid:

Theyre both in the action genre, RE and DMC have been compared in the past by magazines and online sites.
