Im tinkering with a little something Im gonna use for a splash for a site im making, and I need yer help with finishing it. Please post some feedback/comments'n'crits/suggestions/criticism/whatever.

make the border a bit smaller and the wings a bit more visible on the back

Gonna be an all black BG at the index.
Wings I could try and sort though.

a bit more sharper would make it easier on the eyes

I'd think its kinda gay, ur sig i mean.

BTW I think the blur adds to the picture because of what its suppose to be just mess around with the wings though

I'm gonna have to take this a piece at a time, just to keep track of your idiocity...

1. Chris's sig is not his daughter, but very well could be. Use some respect.
- It is to my understanding an image of purity and youth, with his shade of mystic and fantastic "haze" to create a sence of outer-worldlyness, or surrealism. "your" thing or not, it doesn't take much of an artist to get the impression.

2. He is asking for imput on the splash, not his sig. Your addition of "the other one is alittle blurry"... NO SHIT GENIUS.
- It is perfectly obvious that this is a purposeful effect, and stating the obvious you nit-wit doesn't add much now does it?

3. Content does not equal Context.
- Little girls, Flowers, & Porn stars are all allowed, but I do not see how a source image of any nature would be 'out-of-place' here.

4. Why would people with children be "worser" if they posted here? And what in the HELL does your opinion on children and adulthood have to do with the frickin' splash!

Anyways,

I think it would go better without a border, offset left, and placed against a white background. Then use a nice 'flowing' font to her right with your "enter" "site name" ect with the same haze effect.

As he said, none of the girls in that sig is my daughter.
But yes, one of them could probably be, since im 20 years old in couple of months. And no, my sig doesnt have anything at all to do with this thread, it had its own thread a few weeks back.


Back to the splash, thanks for the thoughts on it, and Ill keep tinkering and I think I might be able to show you what I had in mind soon. beer:
