25 GHz is not a Terahertz computer by any definition, are you talking a 1,000 GHz Computer (TeraHertz), or more likely a Teraflop processor (1,000,000,000,000 floating point operations per second). There is a huge difference.

they'll be lucky if they make a 10ghz processor that affordable in the next 3 years

200-500$???????? What are you smoking!?!?!!?!?! For a top of the line computer now, thats anywhere from 3,000-7,000 dollars!!!! Now you put a processor with that much mhz in it, and you've got yourself a 15-20,000 dollar computer! I don't know about you, but I don't have that kind of money just laying around.

jus a small article i read in PC-GAMER said that in only 3 YEARS terrahertz technology will be available meaning alongside your 500mb geforce18, lol, you'd have a 25ghz processor....THREE YEARS!

now what do you think of that?

Mosquito 02-11-2002 07:01 AM

Terrahertz or terraflop technology?
