I seriously think all of this warning label bullshit is going to far. People who sue over this are the filth of the earth that became a victum over their own ignorance and stupidity.

meh, I already know pop is bad for you. I never drink a drop of that stuff.

ninty 07-14-2005 01:07 PM

I'm not so sure this is a bad thing. I think its kind of stupid, and this is maybe going about it the wrong way, but pop is so bad for you, it's not even funny. I hardly drink any of it. A lot of kids eat shit for lunch every day at school. I would probably support a movement to ban pop machines from being put into schools, but that will never happen because the schools get so much revenue from them.

People are stupid and ignorant yes. I believe there should be some accountability or responsibility on the beverage makers to tell people that this product isn't very good for you. Maybe i'm going overboard. Maybe people should figure it out for themselves.

I don't drink much Coke now, but I used to drink it all the time and I'm in good shape.

I went to Mexico last week, and after being there for 3 weeks, I realy think THEY'RE the most obese nation in the world. At resteraunts, they didnt even offer water or any kind of juice - just two things, "Coka" and Fanta. All they're food consists of beans and meat (obviously) and we really had hard times getting fresh vegetables at the grocery store, where bins of tamatoes were always full, and seemed like no one touched one in ages. Plus, everywhere you looked there was always a fat person. I mean, I never noticed it the very first time I went to Mexico, but here, everywhere you looked there were fat kids, fat grandparents, even fat babies.

Now the reason Im bringing this up....Im not really sure.

Mexicans is completely different from the rest of the hispanic population.

No South American wants to be called a Mexican in the US cause they could be associated with fruitpicker, or any low end job. The majority of Hispanics in the US that are doing well, and learn the language, and pay their taxes and what not, and are here legally are not Mexicans.
