JOTUN REQUIRES HELP!
 

I've decided to get back into the PS/Illustrator world and I need to brush up on a few things.

I'm not good with drawing freehand, and I need help doing some stuff.

Say I want to take a black and white pic, and turn it into a vector drawing like this...

pen tool. If you are using photoshop. Check out my photobucket to see a couple, google vector art tutorial.

or do it the crappy way with: Image>Adjustments>Threshold

use illustrator to make all those shapes. Make the black areas like that all new layers and in those layers make the shapes with the pencil tool in Illustrator (try it, the program makes the line smooth)

I would go over to devART and ask one of the vectorists how, I'm sure there would be a ton of them who would help you out.
