For about $550

Sorry to get offtopic, but I have a question I've been meaning to ask.

I have a 6800 (not GT) in my new computer. How do they compare to other cards? It seems to run fine for me, and it's definately an upgrade from my old FX5200

I see no 3.0, so I am assuming you mean 2.0.

well jin roh on the box it says 3.0? maybe im mistaken...but well get a newer card, not an ati radeon pro 9800...like a x700 or something

A 6600GT would be better, but as you asked - it WILL run COD pretty well. How much RAM would you put in it? I'd recommend a gig. This setup would also run bf2 (should you get it) on low/medium settings (as long as you have the gig ram)

That mobo sucks, if you want to go s754 (not sure why you would since s939 is the same price...) Get the [url=http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813136147:b949a]DFI Lanparty UT nF3[/url:b949a] It's the best s754 by far.

Video card, definitely get a 6600GT. It rapes everything in that price range.

If he plans on using that computer for a couple years why not go with a socket 939? 64 bit is only going to get more popular why not be thinking ahead?
and a 6600 GT is a wonderfull card, i have one myself and seems to stomp on any ATI card in its price range.
