Exorcism of Emily Rose Questions
 

Guys, I was just wondering if there is any way possible we can be serious in this thread? I have a few things on my mind and I know im not the most liked person in these forums...but was wondering...can we talk about something right quick? I would appreciate it very much.


I just saw the trailer of Exorcism of Emily Rose on Tv. I am personally a Christian. I usually do not get disturbed by these kinds of things...but for some reason it hit me this time. I didn't want to be the "wuss" and turn away from the trailer, so I forced myself to watch it. Bad idea. Now, I find myself very afraid of these kinds of things. I know Exorcism is real, Deamons are real, Things like spirits etc are real. Wether or not you believe that is your opinion...this is mine. I know it sounds very wussy...but in all honesty when I walk down my hall at night with lights off..I get very affraid and I dont quite know how to react to these things. I just was wondering your guys thoughts on this subject...and ways of dealing with this stuff. Once it gets in your head...the images, videos, and sounds dont leave. I did talk to a close friend of mine and, he is a VERY hard person...cold sometimes, and just really the last person I thought to recieve this answer from: [code:e751f]well i think of it like this

His words really did help me in dealing with this subject. I was just wonder your input on this...and what you guys think. Please keep it serious. Im looking for sincere answers. Thanks to all.

My personal opinion on exorcisms and possessings? It was the "GTA and Violent Video games" that kids could blame for when they did something bad, but this was back when everyone was afraid of Religion.

Tom: Oh poor child! Call the priest! It's time for an exorcism!

I hear ya...but on the kinds of things Im talking about...has nothing to do with actions. Its simply...being possesed and not being able to function etc...I dunno. If you had ever seen a documentation of an Exorcism...then you will know that its not something you can just up and blame. Infact...Emily Rose died during her Exorcism...0.o So...

I went and watched the trailer, pretty freaky.

I think it's all in your mind. You believe in this stuff, so you believe it can happen to you, and it's manifesting your fears. You just have to let it go, watch a comedy or something to get your mind off it.
