How can you believe anything that the Washington (lack of) intelligence service says about anybody in the Middle East. They were 100% wrong about Iraq, what makes you think they have any insight about Iran.

how do you think the insurgents get their weapons and money to finance the terror operations? from syria and iran. iran has a very large interest in what happens in iraq.

Most of the Iraqi insurgents seem to be Sunni, who have been stockpiling weapons forever. They don't need shipments of weapons from Iran or Syria. In case you haven't noticed the different factions are now fighting among themselves as much as they are fighting the OCCUPATION FORCES.
It's true that if the occupation forces were to leave Iraq tommorow, there would be a civil war. that doesn't matter much though as there will be a civil war in Iraq whenever we leave.
