I know i know. many opposing opinions on this one but jus decided to stir up some trouble by letting everyone know that i heard its been made into a movie with Tom Hanks thats coming out in the near future. Discuss.

I saw the trailer for it and it shows absolutly NOTHING. I have no clue if its going to be good or bad, I hope they do a good job on it though.

i hate that shit..... its funny how for 2 thousand years or more the bible has never really changed... but for this fag he thought he knew it all in his one lifetime

Yeah back in that time or even the middle ages if you voiced against the christian religion you would either be kicked out or killed

if tom hanks is in it, the box office has my ticket already. Tom Hanks is my all-time favorite actor.

The book was amazing,they better not fuck up the movie.

umm yeah it has changed, and the bible wasnt written until nearly 800 years after AD. Also, portions of the bible were routinely cut out and remade to fit the churches doctrine at the present time. Face it, you base your faith on a book akin to Aesops Fables and Mother Goose.

Angels and Demons was better.

i kinda liked the da vinci code a little better, but angels and demons was just as good. imo dan browns endings suck though, his story is so detailed and has a good hook on you until the end, when it seems he was in a rush to finish it up cause he had to wash the dishes. for angels and demons, the ending was too weird and far out for me. everything before was great though. oh yeh his romantics suck too.

my mom won't read the book because it takes about the bible and religion the way it does...i laughed and left the room.

Anyways the movie should be good...where is the traileR?

Yeah I don't enjoy the romantic aspects, and both books are almost the same when it comes to how they look and sound.

PS: Has anyone ever read Digital Fortress? Is it any good?

I heard some christain groups tried to get it axed...ill probably go see it
