does global hours mean how many hours you spend on something?
I was looking at Veteran Badges and the amount of global hours they want is insane ed: and the same with Medals ed:

Another question, do you have to do both of the things to get the medal, like for veteran air defense, this is what is listed to get it

Veteran Air Defense:
» 12 kills with Surface to Air Missle
» 250 global hours in Surface to Air Missle

do you have to have the global hours to get the medal or just get the 12 kills with Surface to Air Missle?

rent an ranked server, password lock it, and just sit in a launcher for a few weeks.

Global hours means hours overall. Other awards will spec out hours as a certain nationality.

Yes, to receive a certain reward you have to meet all the criteria....not just part of one.

The big difference in the Expert vs Veteran vs Basic is the hours. You cant be called an expert or veteran with only 12-24 kills in a round. Hours will prove ones skill or at least I think thats the strategy behind the levels.

If you think the Veteran badges are extreme, check out the Expert ones as far as hours.

I think they may have set it a little too high. OMG Expert Badges are insane, the amount of hours are just insane ed:

I agree it seems a bit long yet to keep people playing they have to space awards out. If everything was attainable within a few months playing, would you feel you got your moneys worth? I think that was Dices thought behind how they are spaced out.

Those awards, like most, I dont worry about. I just enjoy the game in general.

The medals are impossible to get. If you want all of them its like 102140124 years.

Look at some of the medals.

The amount of time needed is crazy.

Maybe they will lower the requirements with the patch...because 1000 globals hours is bullshit
