K, since i had toreformat and what not im missing my photoshop...gerv if you read this get on AIM...i need you.

Anyway back on topic, in my "play games" window HL2 and CS:S is all like dark looking, like its not there ya know. Well DoD is the only one not darkened out, but i cant play DoD, it says "The game is currently unavialable" so i click on HL 2 and it's trying to install some shit which i guess went missing in this mess i had. But the damn server is to busy to get the files. I mean is this normal or what?

reinstall hl2

just use steam right and click on HL2 and just install what it tells me to?

i had this problem while ago with cs:s and it told me to reinstall hl2 and it worked, steam=uber cunt

This steam shit confuses me because i dont have a cd or anything, so in a reformat i dunno what to do, thanks, i guess i figured it out. Just reinstall it through Steam...well whatever files are missing. So basically once HL2 fixes itself DoD should work right?

Just have to dload some dod files as well, hl2 and dod share some resources, some physics objects, textures and models.

K is anyone elses steam not updating cause its "Busy"

Exit steam delete the file clientregistry.blob in C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam and try to reconnect.
