Problem with i-Pod

Seems to be quite a few of these topics but im having problems with my ipod. I updated to the new version for 2005-09-23. Since then my ipod is showing a symbol of plugging the wall charger into an outlet. Idk why i would have to do this because i use my computer to charge it. I cant play any songs and when i connect it to my PC, iTunes doesnt even recognize that anything is plugged in? Any help would be appreciated.

after you update your supposed to charge it thru an outlet. It specifically tells you after updating. mine had that....it wants a wall outlet, not a comp plug.

i dont like updating my software either, but iTunes doesnt allow you to put purchased songs on your iPod unless it has a certain firmware. I had the older firmware with the newer iTunes, and whenever I plugged my iPod in, it told me I could not put new purchased songs on my iPod because the firmware was too old.

That's complete bs. They could allow it, but would rather FORCE you to update... those fucking cocksuckers. As if there was a functionality issue. rolleyes:
