Since MOH and RTCW are both based on the Quake engine are the files basicly the same?

If they are could we just swap the Flame Thrower for the PF in a mod ??

but we already have enough cheese weapons. IMO for it to be useful it needs to be limited along with the other cheese weapons.

Getting a flamethrower into MOHAA involves alittle more than simply "swapping a file".

a lot more. for one thing you have to add the pretty little "ow my face is on fire" effects and then the flames on the ground etc.

Well ok.....But it does seem better to have a FT than a tank killer in a game that has no tanks !!!

Think of the damage system you would have to implement... If you just swapped files, it'd be a big flame that causes no damage, and at the same time, spits out a bullet...
