Battlefront 2
 

Liked the first one. This one got pretty good reviews. Considering on buying it. Anybody here have it? Is it worth the $$?

Well I don't have an Xbox (tho i know its coming to PC) but I watched IGN's review and they said it was worse than the original. Same balance problems, pretty much exactly the same gameplay, just a little more shinyness to the older game, the new Jedi are fun but unbalanced, the weaponary still looks, plays and sounds like pea-shooters.
They added more flight combat to this but it seems boring as its just 2 big ships opposite each other and jus becomes lame, jus like the 1st where you had to turn around every 5 seconds to not run off the map.

They also mentioned that its a classic case of a lazy developer with a strong franchise to sit back on, all they do it add a few things and call it a sequel.

I actually bought the 1st game thinking it was going to be BF1942 but star wars. How wrong was I........ annoy:

yea, for the pc there are a lot better games but as a console game I always thought the first one was decent. Ill probably rent it then.

i think its much better than the first. the introduction of space battles itself is great. Although it would have been better as an expansion pack, theres enough there for a download. its worth the HD space

I hadhoped it would be that as well but if SWBF1 is anythin to go by then fuck that!
