My friends x600 gave me a spanking scoring 12k..... fucking pathetic. I have heard of guys scoring way hihger then this, I have heard of 9800 scoring 18 to 21k...

Try overclocking your graphics card some, seeing as its a dell i don't think you could overclock your cpu.

3d marks really pointless anyway, it doesn't represent a gaming benchmark in anyway seing as no games use its engine. Then again you do get the occasional pack of sad bastards coughing up cash for sli video cards and insane cooling methods just to increse the interweb penor size.

Ingame performance sucks as well... CODUO = laggy. I was talking to my friend, he has this sucker maxed out on coduo, aa cranked, and af cranked.. flawless...

did you reformat after building your new comp?

I've just tried it today and got 3530Marks

Specs:
AMD64 3200
1gb 3200
Galaxy 6600GT
Abit Kv8 Pro

Yes, I formatted, I was able to score 11207 now.. but that is still quite poor.

I am using 3dmark 2001SE, not 2003 or 2005, So that could explain it, also I am using the standard stock settings for 3dmark that it uses by default*** 3k = painfully low ofr a 6600.

I have been able tro fix it, seems my bios was completely fucked, Cleared the CMOS, updated it with the latest revision and boom, I am now scoring 18367 biggrin: . My friends x850 is only scoring 17k as well, So now it is time to hlp him out.

Who cares? Like Akuma said if your shit runs fine everything is well...fine.
