well,you prolly heard what happened to me......I got hacked,and I had to wipe my hard drive clean.....if you do NOT have a firewall,I suggest that you get one FAST...GAMESPY is teeming with hackers,I cannot get on there for 5 min without getting attacked 5 times every minute.....my new firewall lets me know everytime I get attacked,and loggs their IP's......get a firewall..NOW!

YUP! holy crap!

i got on of the good ones (norton personal firewall. of course gamespy would have hackers because of the open ports and such. getting a firewall is a good idea if your running cable like i am! and i know whats it like to have your computer broken into although my anti virus program caught not only the virus but the firewall stopped hackers also.

Anyone who knows firewalls know why I can receive DCC sends when on IRC but can not send any????

flipping hell, is there anything else to use other than gamespy, something that you dont get hacked easily with??

Gamespy is not bedding with hackers...its the ports open to gamespy, but it sucks anyway. ALL SEEING EYE...

Zone Alarm is a very good firewall if you guys are looking for one

norton personal firewall is what i have version2002. it tells you whos breaking in, there ip address, attempts of break in's etc etc. i suggest norton 2002
