PSU Help
My Antec 380 watt decide to shit the bed and stop working, and I'm wondering what you guys recommend in terms of replacement?
I don't need SLi but my specs are: amd64 3500 6800gt 2gig ram couple fans and such any suggestions? not to concerned on price either. |
Doesnt really matter, as long as you 400+ watts, if you ask me.

My guess is you're still using the older 20 pin style connector on your mobo? (perhaps post what mobo your usuing) If so look for something with a 20 pin or 20 + 4 pin main connector. I've used this one for several builds and had no problems:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817104954 It was cheap (price) but well built. If you don't care about $ then I would go for a bigger name brand like Antec. My preference in that regards is Silverstone, OCZ, and PC Power and Cooling. Not a big Antec fan but that's just me. |

well turns out it wasn't the damn power supply it was the mobo!! luckily i had an extra one with a fried ram slot so thank you Antec, fuck you MSI! mad:
