Reminds me of that 60 minutes piece last week which stated $8 billion was unaccounted for in Iraq, most of it going to contracters who didn't do their jobs.

And no one cares about this issue?

Is it me or being a crtic for something like the Iraq War immediately makes one seem anti-American?...pull yourself together for crying out loud. I expect some maturity especially from a man who is the oldest person on this board. Give a proper response, not some rhetoric that wasn't even stated in my post. Dodging the issue is what cowards do.

Maybe it's that I've seen this shit during every conflict that has happened during my life, that keeps me from getting excited about it. You act like you didn't expect both sides to lie through their teeth to try to make their side look good and the other side to look bad. Read the article you posted again. Someone is complaining that numbers don't add up. The other side is saying yes the numbers do add up, but the other side is destroying our progress as fast as we make it.

Both sides (that is the people that cause the war to continue) are equally evil, and both sides (that is the people that actually do the fighting and dying) are equally good.

Nobody has a moral highground in this conflict.
