Graphic death scenes - and don't see it with your folks unless you love feeling uncomfortable, as there are rough wound-inflicting sex scenes and the beginnings of what I think was a 69....

The attack scenes are really good...

yeah, the 69 pwned. I watched it two weeks ago (friend is a manager at Blockbuster rock: ). I thought it was fairly good. It keeps you thinking a lot.

Horrible movie. Sure the guy kicks ass. Twice. The rest is just "meaningful" music, shitty dialogue, and overly dramatic camera use. Barly even finished it and wouldnt watch it again.

Good film. Saw it Thursday night.

...Three times he kicks ass.....That was worth the whole film for me, and when the kid gets into a fight with the school bully - That was kinda fun...

I did think the script was kind of dumbed down, but I felt as though it added effect to the simple life he was leading, and how different he had become. When he goes to philli, it should be noted that the script changes considerably as he morphs back into this other guy and William Hurt's character is introduced.

The cinematography was a bit frustrating at times (the first five minutes were kinda frustrating - but it did build up tension), you have to put up with that in cronenberg's films, he almost is a bit David Lynch at times with his approach to film making with very subtle references and deep metaphors which noone really ever gets anyway.

Other than WILLIAM HURT getting a bullshit Oscar nom for his 5 FUCKING MINUTES as Viggo's brother -

Its a good movie.
