Car Enthusiasts Unite: What to Buy?
Ok, so I'm trading in my mostly beloved RX-8 and getting one of the following new rides. I'd like your input, especially from those who are into cars and have something valuable to add:
1. 2003 BMW 325Ci 2. 2003 Audi A4 3.0 Quattro Both have comparable price and mileage and I'm kind of torn. Your opinions are appreciated. |
dont get the "bimmer" we already have one fgt from michigan with one biggrin:
BMW. They are a drivers car and you will get more notice with it. However they do have electrical gremlins, jsut not the bazillion that audi's have. Id def go with the 325
Fuck the Bimmer, go with the A4. I love those, and they are very nice.
Cant beat AWD. I believe the 325 has RWD. |

can i have your old rx8?

were you bought out by ford? Visteon in Ypsilanti got Pwned
Nein.... Visteon is independent of Ford.
The plant in Ypsi used to be a Visteon plant. However, this summer Visteon sold 13 plants to Ford. It's a long complicated story, but the moral of the story is: Ford is in trouble, Visteon is doing pretty good. |
Just stfu and get the Audi happy:
I love you too

take into consideration how easy it is to get fixed if something goes wrong with it? Does the bmw have readily available parts? Are they hard to get? Are they cheap? Just something to think about.
Both carry warranties for a few years. This is indeed a good point, but not something that will really come into consideration for my purchase.
Now that the word Snow has been brought into the equation get a fucking STI and you will be happy.
Looked into WRX's, but insuring one is much more costly than either of these.
good point. If you get a lot of snow, And by a lot I mean you are driving on an inch of snow EVERY day to work and back then I would go with the AWD Audi. If you rarely have to drive in snow I would go with the BMW. RWD is not fun to have in snow but it is on the dry pavement.
