I'm rather familer with the internect connection 'bug' that MOH has.
I experienced it on my old computer with Win98. Luckily selecting "Never dial a connection" in the Internet Options put an end to that problem. However, I just built a new system and installed WinXP on it. I selected the "Never dial a connection" option, but MOH still brings up a Network Options window when I try to load a level. This is the most god damn annoying 'bug' in the game. I put bug in quotes, because I doubt something like this could get in by accident. I think it's EAs gay way of spying on our systems. Still, why the hell should I be connected to the internet to play a single player game! Does the 1.1 patch fix this? I never downloaded it because I don't play MP. Otherwise does anyone know how to fix this in WinXP (home)? [This message has been edited by stevedroid (edited February 17, 2002).] |
Never mind I found the answer. Apparently I have to disable auto-dial as well in WinXP
