How does the ranking system work? I know part of it goes by the number of posts, but I've seen people ranked higher with less posts. Does it go by time too?

It normally goes by post number, but can also be decided by your status (ie member, moderator, administrator).

what do the different symbols mean under the avatars? Is there a site or something that explains them?
