yep some times firefox will freak the fuck out if liek a huge java file or something is loading and just freeze.

I little menu could pop up that says this current profile is in use create a new one and if you do that it looks like the original with all your links and shit gone

Mr.Buttocks 04-11-2006 03:18 PM

The old one will probably be still sitting in C:\Documents and Settings\Anti\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

Create a new profile and point it at the old folder.

Nyck 04-11-2006 03:23 PM

^ yep make sure you can see hidden folders as well.

theres an extension for firefox called bookmark backup just in case, i think it saved me the 2nd time my firefox crashed and i lost everything.

I now use Opera which I 90% adore, especially the Magic Wand.

handy page for fellow opera users: http://nontroppo.org/wiki/OperaPerformance

Gonna have to agree with PYRO here. FIREFOX is more trouble than its worth. Once IE 7 gets all its damned kinks worked out - I'm all over it.
