I doubt he will for two reasons...

1) It will hurt the Administrations image; after saying how great and magical Iraq is having the Secretary of Defense resign over it makes it seem not so great and not so magical.

2) What would him resigning do but give the Democrats fodder?

In the end they don't stand to gain anything if he stays but if he leaves they potentially stand to lose some things.

In national news tonight a young man was arrested in his Tennessee home after posting a message on a dodgy internet message board saying "bush needs to get the hell out or be assassinated.

But really the entire US Government needs a clean sweep, buncha infective corrupt dirtbags.

But you are in a state of war...wouldnt be suprised tommorow after having your phone tapped and your computers data swept you could be picked up and taken off to some country in eastern europe and tortured where, under pressure, you will have to tell lies to stop the torture, furthering your stay at the prision. You may eventually get released, but under this war on terror every terrorist needs to be locked up tortured and spying on hundreds of thousands of citizens because you need to defeat the evil doers..
