Who needs new ideas this is HOLLYWOOD ffs, all they needa do is get an old movie stick in some annoying fucking "love" storyline, make sure they refer to "terrorists" once or twice toss in some cgi and presto a new movie.

i over heard this arguement the other day ... remakes is nothing new in hollywood, theyve been doing it for YEARS. personally i enjoy the remakes quite a lot ... if you like the first one seeing a fresh take on it isnt a bad thing. i just watch "when a stranger calls" and it was quite awesome ... i thought the same of the amityville horror, first was good remake was just as good, same with the texas chainsaw.

and the whole "new ideas" arguement is just as stupid really ... look at all the "new" flix coming out monthly ... if you check your local listing you might find 1 or 2 out of 10 that are actually remakes.
