""The average CFL salary is about $50,000 Cdn whereas the minimum stipend in the NFL this season will be $275,000 US ($304,000 Cdn). Williams would probably make about $150,000, making him the one of the highest paid running backs in the league."

"He owes the Dolphins $8.6 million US for breaching his contract "

oOo: nice....enjoy your 58 year career in Toronto to pay off that debt.

What a dumb fuck. He came back just to pay off that money and then smokes him self out of the league again.

ninty 05-04-2006 09:09 AM

maybe he just wants to play football. i don't think he expects to pay off his debt in the cfl.

05-04-2006 09:28 AM

serves him right for going to play in that joke of a league called CFL.

lol just stirrin up shit, pay no attention to me.

TonyMontana 05-04-2006 09:39 AM

yeah for sure. every city the argos play in people will go to see ricky williams.

Nyck 05-04-2006 10:16 AM

doubt it will even happen.

sorry but ricky is about as close to a slave as you can be.

Dolphins fucking own his ass not only in the fact that he owes them 9 million, but the fact that hes still under contract.

CFL could take a big step in credibility and not sign someone kicked out of the nfl. but hey whatever brings the fans I s'pose

Too bad it was the players that asked for it, not the nfl.

and they said to cut down on it not stop

The genesis of the rule change adopted as the NFL meetings wrapped up came from the players' union itself. Last month at the NFL combine, a group of players told competition committee chairmen Rich McKay, general manager of the Atlanta Falcons, and Jeff Fisher, coach of the Tennessee Titans, they believed the celebrations were getting too elaborate.

"The players wanted defined limits of celebrations," Dungy said. "They really pushed for that."

gtboys34 05-04-2006 01:30 PM

players =h8ters

Pyro 05-04-2006 01:40 PM

lmao...

Argos are already the best team in the league

What are we now? Unbeatable if this happens.

Calgary going for 0-15

TD celebrations owned...

...like...if people who score goals in nhl can't celebrate id be pissed.

I guess people are just mad that the Lions are the most boring and shittiest team ever in the NFL.

if could write this in crayon I would so you could understand it. They dont want to stop celebrations just the stupid shit some do after they score. Like taking out a cell phone or a sharpie to autograph the ball and hand it to the crowd or even taunting the other team.

As for your snub of the Lions, they could take any of your CFL teams so that goes to show you how much that league sucks ass.
BTW I am not a Lions fan but I may as well stick up for them when you do your senseless jabs
