Fileplanet though, Some of the stuff in the video was pretty interesting, one of the ea employees is basically giving an interview to another guy whos also recording it: If you use your cloak function you can get inside a vehicle and the vehicle will also be cloaked, have to decloak to fire though (startrek anyone). ed: You can spawn a drone overhead (literally about a foot above you) and it'll fire at anyone coming near you, can be handy to stop sneaky bastards knifing you from behind Drawback is its always above you so hiding behind something is hard, plus point is if you're in a ground vehicle it'll hover above that and so could stop people planting explosives on your vehicle. There are 4 "template" player classes, with a total of 44 classes available. basically you mix and match your kit and get access to new stuff by gaining enough points to unlock it. If you knife someone you steal thier dogtags, serves as bragging rights. eek: Emp grenades dont totally disable mechs etc, instead they make their movement extremly sluggish and corrupt their display so they can't properly target you. Some vehicles seem to have a temporary sheild they can engage for a few seconds to avoid taking damage. Titan maps seem to have some kinda jump pad reminiscant of quake 3 to get you across the map quickly, goal is to capture the missile sios (which ake about 3-4 secs to cap with one man) and take out the enemy titan sheilds. Games starting to look sorta interesting, the videos a worthwhile dload just to get the jist of the game. Still not sure if its dice sweden or dice canada making this, a gamspot interview at e3 had a swedish guy there from dice and he was talking like it was stockholm dice making it. eek: |
So it's like Starsiege Tribes meets UT2k4 by Dice? eek:
