So, I just got a check for $2998.78
From a company called the Scientific Design Company Inc.
I also received, in the same envelope, a message saying that they've secured the money necissary for me to pay off the fees and charges (My mom thinks that if this is legit that would be the money in the check) to collect $188,000 from OLGC (Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation). Now everything I've learned from birth just screams Prince Abu-Zimbabwai from Nigeria trying to steal my money, but the fact that I'm a minor and they sent what appears to me and my family as a completly legitimate check for THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS baffles my mind. Anyone heard of this? Perhaps it's an elaborate scam where they send out checks that bounce in the hope you give them your account information before you realize it's a bad check? Here's to hoping I just won some type of lottery. beer: |
hey fellow ontario buddy, share the love.

by cashing it, it may sign you up for something. I sometimes get junk in the mail with a $50 check, but then you realize by cashing it, you sign up for stuff that pretty much puts you well out of $50.

Except I live in California. Why the hell would I be winning Canada's lotteries? And why would a canadian lottery corporation go through a company from New Jersey in sending out their checks? Quote:
