Okay, so I'm in the rescuse mission with the SAS guy and I approach the gate after blowing the items up and taking out the mg'ers and spotlights. When I approach the gate, from no matter what angle, be it left or right, the game freezes.
Notes: I have Windows XP, and this is a legal, store bought copy.

LMAO, I have a Geforce 3, don't think so.

What version, video drivers you running. Does not sound like drivers if you get that far b4 it locks up but you never know. Also is any other programs running in the background? You may be running low on resources

Try reinstalling. Just by chance, it might fix the problem. However, if that doesn't work, most likely to get it working you'll have to do something like reformat and reinstall, which plain sucks... I've done it like 15 times at least...
