how do i find these out? (training purposes)

a simple whois lookup should do the trick.
If that doesnt work.. go into command prompt and ping the domain name. It'll tell you the ip address its pinging. |
ok thanks. i thought you had to have the ip address before pinging

and this was locked why?
No you dont need the ip address to ping, you can use a domain name and it'll give a the ip address it'll ping though. |
