I come in this morning and there's a Sprite can on my desk with a note from the cleaner:

"Empty can's (sic) completely before discarding in rubbish bin. I doubt you like being soaked by fizzy drinks, I know I don't!"

Now, if memory serves me correctly from yesterday afternoon, I left about a 1/4 teaspoon of Sprite in the can.

I just left a note of my own stuck to the garbage bag...

"Do your job and don't worry about a half teaspoon of Sprite left in a can...and don't leave garbage on my desk again or you'll find more than Sprite in the trash"

Seriously...I fucking know better than to leave like a half can of pop in the garbage. My blood pressure went off the chart when I saw that.

So we call the building and the manager starts giving my grief about ALWAYS leaving half-empty cans in my garbage. I tore that boy a new arsehole saying that I was raised better and that I was always the one who was cleaning up around here. At the end, he was going to talk to the cleaner.

I also enjoy a nice cold sprite. Or occasionally a sapsparilla. Though sometimes a tequila is quite satisfying.

i always put yogurt cups in my trash and the kanitor takes it out every day. i kind of feel bad...i wonder if he ever gets any yogurt on him...cause you know, you can never get all the yogurt out of the cup! it's impossible!

I put half full drinks in the trash all the time. But my "office" trash can is in my home office. I've never spilled any when I was emptying the trash bin. There is this new invention called a Trash Bag. They are made of plastic. The one I use has a tie string on the top. I pull the string and the bag is sealed for me to take to the outside trash can. Amazing technology. rolleyes:
