Ok...i played MOHAA last night..online, everything was fine.. I come home turn my pc on and then i go to play and my MOHAA freezes upon running the "In-game browser"...single player works fine, and gamespy doesn't seem to be connecting. I'm on cable so it's not the lag that's killing it. My MOHAA start "not-responding" but i am able to get BACK into the multiplayer menu(where it shows the refreshed servers cept no servers are there)..it's just when MOHAA tries to connect it seems to freeze...any idea? I have a firewall but it ran fine even w/the firewall on. ANY AND ALL HELP IS GREATLY APRECIATED!

I had this same problem. I don't know what fixed it, but I ran the setup/repair game option(during setup), and downloaded and installed the latest gamespy software. I don't know if the last thing has anything to do with the ingame browser, but one of those things seems to have helped.

The first time I ran into this problem was when I downloaded and installed the Command and Conquer Renegade demo and didn't install the gamespy software as I already had it. The demo wouldn't work and then I started to have those probs with MOHAA. Don't know if it's related.

Good Luck

can you get on through "ALL SEEING EYE"

Sgt.: I tried what you said, i also uninstalled, reinstalled, system restored(xp), and did everything possible. My gamespy doesn't work, and mohaa freezes, not on LAN tho. Low.:i don't know waht that is sorry.
I doubt it's a conflict cause the game works fine, it has to be something that occurs when my game tries to connect to gamespy..(which hasn't been working) and refresh the servers. I have a feeling the main problem is gamespy. When i run gamespy, i get a slow login and it constantly says "Update in background _i.e:something like _z????.jpg" Lately is even stops responding. Again, MOHAA online ran perfectly fine on thursday. Maybe my free time is up? Do i have to reg. gaymespy? I'm suffering w/o this...My m1 stock is getting cold...lol. Anyway, anyone's 2cents would be great and appreciated.

Here's a run-down:
 1.
Game loads Fine

I go into multiplayer

I go to join game, Internet Server, In game-browser

Freezes, i got no respone for about 20secs

I hit windows key repediatly until menu pops up

I Click back on "Refresh", process starts over.

I begin to beat my face against the monitor

I searched and i found something about a dog? Can anyone do me a favor and post a IP to a generally not so popular server? Maybe so i can see if it's just the Gamespy connection that isn't working? Thanks to all who have helped me with this.

Testing my sig out too. Oh and i found the Eye thing, but i'd rather try to get gamespy running first. Thanks.
