Looks like a game that could actually push the newer consoles a bit instead of that rushed out for release crap they currently have.

Btw if you;re bored of bf2, i doubt 2142 will shock you with anything new really.

I'm waiting on FH2 also.

Yeah gerv, the more I look at BF2142 the shitter it looks. I've always said it would never appeal to me as its the same engine but lately I've checked a few of those press conference type videos on google video and it looks shite.

Initially I was pretty damn excited about Quake Wars too but i've reserving judgement until it gets closer to release date, as the initial images were outstanding but when you see it running it doesn't look all too different to the BF series...

I hope I'm wrong though, maybe I'm expecting too much from game companies now tho... nag:

Ive been beta testing 2142 since thursday night, as it is right now i dont see many people leaving bf2 for it. Lot of stuff still feels unfinished but dice are supposodly tuning the things people find bad and are gonna be updating the beta soon.
