hey, lets blow up my kitchen
 

I moved out last weekend, but 2 days before I moved out, my sister decided to set my kitchen on fire.

I moved out 2 days after it happened. but she had to call the fire engine out, she aparently tried putting it out with a damp cloth but it "didnt work"

All the smoke went straight upstairs and into my bedroom, so my new bedroom stinks. I'm currently working on getting rid of the smell though.

Any suggestions on good cleaning materials for cleaning anything from wood to electrical equipment, my I cant get the blackness off my computer monitors.

damn. Is it too late to find another place? Insurance do anything for it?

I'd hire some sort of a disaster cleaning company. Or else the smell of smoke will linger throughout the house for years.

We cancelled the house insurance 2 weeks before it happened as I was the only person working at the time, and couldnt afford it. My sisters are planning on moving out anyway sometime this month. 1 is goin to scotland, the other to live with her dad.

Set a bowl of vinegar out, it absorbs a lot of odor.
