A Kid i knew in HS died in Iraq
 

I went to school with his older brother, Jim, and i remember seeing him around when i graduated the year before him. I didnt know him well, but because i remember his face and can put a voice and history to it, this news today really hit me. this fuckin war, I hope it was worth it. 2 weeks before he comes home too annoy:

Yeah, man thats terrible. Until you know people fighting and dying overseas, it doesn't really hit you.

The wars going on now have affected hundreds of thousands of people around the globe. I know a lot of people over in Afghanistan right now, thankfully none of them have died there, but others haven't been so lucky.

He seemed like a good guy from the way the story was written, well any SEAL is a good guy. It is always a tough loss, only more tough when you know the person. I do not disagree with the occupation in Iraq, but I just don't like to see this happen.
