I awoke one night due to a severe storm at 0200. I turn on the TV, and Aliens is playing. I almost cried because I instantly thought about how shitty AVP was, and Alien Resurrection. You'd think with new technological advances in movie making that newer would be better, but Aliens kicked ass and none of them will ever come close to it.

as if you didnt see that one coming from the ending of the first AVP?

Could be good if they dont have the same director. Last movie blew, i loved it when the predator got his shoulder cannon and these slow as fuck moving balls of energy fired out of it, as if the aliens are to slow to avoid them. oOo:

I don't remember it firing anything else, it just looked a lot faster in the original predator.

In the original predator it looked more like a laser blast, didn't look anything like these big tortoise speed moving glowing orbs of death that was in avp.

It's supposed to be a plasma cannon, so whatever.
