Flags of Our Fathers

Well, seeing Arkan hasn't been to the movies since "Poltergeist".....j/k, has anyone seen/or going to see Flags of our Fathers? Tomorrow is supposed to be shitty as far as weather is concerned and i was thinking of seeing this flick.

Movie review anyone?

i like it a bunch. i liked how it showed more about how the men who got the credit for rasing the flag had to deal with the pressure of being called heros when they thought they didnt do anything to be considered heroes. i really like the way the flick was shot.

about even. A good amount of war scenes, with a lot of behind-the-scenes drama parts. Gonzo's description is basically waht the story is about.

I'm a bit confused as to how they managed to get guys from 3 different services. I thought it was the USMC who raised the flag eek:

Every one of them was USMC, except one Navy Corpsman, who is the equivalent of an Army medic, because the USMC doesn't have medics, just Corpsman from the Navy.
