wasn't this on like worlds dumbest criminals or something a few years ago?...

Arkan 11-10-2006 06:00 PM

It's a good thing most criminals can't hit the side of a barn.

Also, she really did a great job of calming down. most people would've flipped beyond reason.

bukdez 11-10-2006 06:02 PM

i feel like i saw it before, and they said something, like shes lucky she can still hear...

Sgt>Stackem 11-11-2006 07:53 AM

fight crime, shoot back

Colonel 11-11-2006 09:38 AM

Wow. And then everybody goes about their business like they didn't just try to kill her.

You better believe if I worked in a convenient store I would have either a shotgun or a .45 handy by my side just in case. I've seen several instances where the clerk is armed and owns the robber.

Stammer 11-11-2006 09:47 AM

He sure did Buttocks that one.

Well, considering how it all unfolded, the only way you would have shot back would be AFTER the perp took a shot at you 1st. Those are bad odds but lucky for her, he missed.
In a situation such as that, there was no time to react. It was basically an execution attempt with no warning.

Maybe, but I've seen several videos where the clerk instantly pulls his weapon and aims it at the robber as soon as he walks in the door. You wouldn't wait until the guy is right next to you to try something.

Do you think in that situation you'd be fast enough to realize you're about to get robbed and shot at? I can't say i'd be fast enough in that situation. That was without warning.

Colonel 11-11-2006 10:34 AM

I was robbed when I worked at a Majik Market in college. I though the guys looked a little suspicious walking around the store, but I didn't think they were going to rob me until he pulled his gone and it was inches from my belly. It happened too fast to react.

Sgt>Stackem 11-12-2006 10:28 AM

and no one knows what they would do until you are forced into the situation, I agree she didnt have reaction time before but after???? He is one shot up on her so she owes him one freak:

Colonel 11-12-2006 10:49 AM

yep. I would've loved to have shot the two guys that robbed me as they turned to leave. But the only satisfaction I got was tricking them into only getting about $50 or less, when they could have gotten ten times that amount.

Policeman: What did they look like.

Me: A .38 revolver

Policeman: Not the gun, what did the men look like.

Me: All I saw was the gun. I don't think I ever took my eyes off of the end of the snub nosed barrel.

jujumantb 11-12-2006 06:32 PM

It looked clear to me based on his reaction that he accidentally pulled the trigger.
