those two companies are stating that they dont have enough consoles to meet all the pre-orders that they took.

if you do not get a console on launch day with your pre-order you will have to wait awhile and they will give you a free game or dvd(valued at 20 or less)

lmao at only shipping 150-200 thousand ps3's

Supposedly the PS3s in Japan are having problems playing PS2 games...as in they wont play at all

With the way systems are set up now - theyll patch that shit in a heartbeat. The sad thing is - if this is anything like the PSP - itll make modding your system that much more difficult. The PS2 was great in that it was ONE piece of hardware that ran off (in a batch) one piece of software. So modding for it was easy - with the PSP and PS3 and the increased access to the internets, now were facing a situation where just slapping a chip in your machine and tossing an ISO image on the Hard Drive isnt going to work. . .

Dark days for PS3 piracy Im guessing.

So whats the deal, this PS3 thing is supposed to be the shit of all game consoles? If i buy one, i want the best.

save a few hundred and grab a 360, graphics will pretty much look the same

im not a ps3 hater, I infact have owned PS1 and PS2, and i do think the ps3 is pretty good
