PC Game list Check
Thumbing through my catalog of games and stumbled across some great classics, and not so great. This is what i have as far as PC games
DOOM (Original) - Paved the way for me in FPS DOOM 3 - Loved every moment of it DOOM 3 Resurection - Decent add on Unreal II - Never played the whole thing Unreal Tournament - I liked this game Unreal 2003 - Don't remember playing this at all Half Life - Never finished original game but played all the mods (TFC, C/S, DOD) Half Life 2 - Sucked ass BF2 - Never gave this game a chance MOH - Played both game and online MOH Spearhead - Finished it Operation Flashpoint - Good game for its time Delta Force - Decent game but bad AI Delta Force Land Warrior - Better but AI not good Code Name Outbreak - Another game i don't remember playing Special operations - Meh Rogue Spear - Would've be better if you could see the weapons Ghost Recon - Same as above Quake III Arena - Wasn't into this game at all Max Payne - Played only a little of it Kingpin - Got bored with it Castle Wolfenstein - Played it all the way through Combat Flight Sim - Used to play with a bunch of my friends. Lotsa fun for the little time we played Need 4 Speed 4 - 'twas ok Need 4 Speed 5 - same Need 4 Speed, most wanted - Decent game GT Legends - Boring but it has my Coupe F.E.A.R. - Believe it or not, haven't played it yet. Waiting to reformat Americas Army - Played this quite a bit but haven't done so in a long time I think thats about it. |
I'm at the computer lab typing this right now, so I'll just have to guess at what I have.
MOHAA: First game I ever played online. I used to be awesome at it. I'm still good, but I don't play as much. Spearhead: New weapons were decent; everything else sucked dong. Soldier of fortune II: Oh how I loved this game back in the day. Blasting a dude's head off and watching the brain matter splatter on the wall = greatness. I believe it was one of the first games to have detailed gore animations on the character models (i.e. exit wounds on the body). Alien vs. Predator 2: This game was awesome, simply for the fact that you could change visions when playing as the Predator. I loved slicing some ngr's head off and listening to the Predator make his trademark scream. Alien vs. Predator: Primal Hunt (expansion pack): Added some cool features. Sadly not as many people played this one online as the original. Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Sucked dong...HARD. Never even got halfway through the SP. MP was homo as well. Wolfenstein 3D: A classic game. Nothing beats blowing Hitler's face off at the end. Star Wars: Jedi Knights Jedi Academy: Was a pretty neat game for its time, but I never played it much. Unless the hack and slash is as fluid as something like God of War, I'm not going to like playing it very much. Day of Defeat/Counter-Strike/HL2 MP Pack: No need to explain CSS or DoD. DoD is fun but why do the people move so fast and why do you slide all over the place? America's Army: Used to play this A LOT with one of my former clanmates. We were both awesome at it 2 summers ago during the 2.1-2.6 era. Rise of Nations: Hate RTS games. Love this game. Makes no sense. It's a great game; play it if you haven't done so already. RoN expansion pack: Added a few new nations and features; the new campaign modes were leet. Nothing is better than raping Persia with Alexander the Great or calling a nuclear war on the USSR/USA. Delta Force 2: The first "modern" PC game I played once we bought a "good" computer back in 1999-2000. Before that, I had only played Wolf 3D. Game was awesome since you could snipe people from over a mile away. MP would have been awesome if every server wasn't infested with hackers (literally people flying around the map firing full-auto with unlimited ammo) oOo: The Sims, The Sims Living Large Expansion: What can I say? I folded in to the huge Sims mania sometime around 2000-2001. Games really weren't that great looking back on it in hindsight. Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight: I thought it was awesome to just fly around anywhere in the world; graphics were pretty leet for the time period it was released. |
I should probably kill myself now. I just got back from the lab, and I notice what was perhaps the most awesome game of the time:
Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger This game made me cream my pants. Not only did it offer cool little nuances such as landing your ship in the hanger bay in real-time, or communicating with your enemies/wingmen/ships in real-time, it also offered badass cockpit graphics and full video sequences of your pilots/enemies/and ship crew as well. Also had over 3 hours of live video acting to serve as the storyline, which was awesome in its own right. Some of you may remember the really shitty Hollywood movie by the same name; this version was so much better. Actors included Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Malcolm McDowell (Lots of shit, most notably A Clockwork Orange), John Rhys-Davies (Sallah from Indiana Jones), Jason Bernard (The judge from Liar Liar), Tom Wilson (Biff from Back to the Future), and that fucker who played Shredder on the TMNT movies. Big-time names, I know, but for a 10 year old kid, that was fucking awesome. You could also choose how the storyline played out by selecting different responses (no text-based shit either, each option yielded a seperate movie scene). Man oh man was that game awesome. happy:
No actually I would just take the time to run about 1.5 miles out with a Barrett M82, hide in a ditch, and pick people off. It would usually take about 10 minutes for people to fly around and figure out where it was coming from. My kill/death ratio would be like 35-3. rock: |
Wow, i would always wonder why the maps were so damn big. I usually just turned on my knife+speed+aimbot and i would eventually find you haha

PC Myst - I finally beat this when I was 11. I started when I was 8 oOo: Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring - Sucked MOHAA - Favorite MP. Ever. Halo - Favorite single player. Laggy MP tho loney: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy - Thought the 'Dark Side' would be cooler. It was the same as 'Light Side', but with everyone attacking you. And a different final boss. Same penultimate boss, tho oOo: Half-life - Good. HL: Op4 - Better HL: BS - BS is right CounterStrike 1.6 - Still good MP CS: CZ - Got halfway through. Half life 2 - One of the best games I've ever played. CS:S - Prettier. But slower. Day of Defeat - Weird aiming. Star Trek: Armada - Pretty good. Not a Big RTS fan, but this was cool. Half-life 2: Episode 1 - Nuthing really new here, but fun expansion. Doom 3 - Started really scary. Second half it started to go downhill. Alien vs Predator 2 - Eh. |
Gerv's going to need a whole thread to himself for this shit. He's probably been writing up a post for the last 4 hours.
