CoMaToSe 11-21-2006 07:12 AM

maybe it was paralyzed or injured and couldnt walk...

Sgt>Stackem 11-21-2006 07:53 AM

its just deformed, looks like it led a long life though. It must not have hampered it in getting food. Nice rack!

im going hunting with some friends tommorow. probably just going to sit in a tree stand for 5 hours and drink beers. yee haaww

CoMaToSe 11-26-2006 09:15 PM

deer's hooves are like finger nails or beever's teeth; they will grow uncontrollably without some action like eating or walking to wear them down and keep them in check. So something prevented this deer from walking, that growth is a result, not a cause.
